PELJESAC PENINSULA The northwestern coastline of this wooded peninsula is dotted with many bays and beaches. Some of them can be found near Loviste, while a large sunny beach surrounded by pinewood is located near Viganj, according to some, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. The waters of Viganj hold the remains of a Roman galley that suffered shipwreck. Should you make your way to Peljesac be sure to try the world-renowned Dingac. DRACE (Peljesac) Drace is a place on the northern side of the southern Dalmatian Peljesac peninsula, known worldwide for its excellent wines. Drace is located in the open bay of Bratkovica, where several caves can be found. The bay is a safe place to anchor your boat, while divers can discover the rich underwater of this peninsula.
BAY OF DUBA (Peljesac) This bay, located near Trpanj, has a beautiful pebble beach, an ideal place to anchor your boat. Surrounded by high and wooded mountains overlooking a small island, the bay of Duba is a great place for a short break. While on Peljesac take the opportunity to taste some of the well-known wines of Peljesac - Carsko or Knezevo wine, Potomlje, Putnikovic, Peljesac, and for wine-lovers, Sveta Ana wine. ISLAND OF KORCULA Korcula, an island of shipbuilders and stone-carvers, is one of the sunniest and greenest islands. After sailing around the small islands of Mejsan and Badija, placed by the city of Korcula, taste the local wines of Posip and Plavac and gastronomic specialties "cukarini" and "makaroni s vretena". BAY OF GRSCICA (Korcula) Grscica is a quiet bay on the southern coast of the island of Korcula, not far from Blato, the city known for its "kumpanija", one of the three dances native to Korcula. Terraced vineyards can be seen from the safety of the small harbor and its picturesque houses. The Grscica archipelago is a popular nautical destination.
BRNA (Korcula) Brna lies in a small bay east of Vela Luka on the island of Korcula. It is known for the largest vineyards on the island and excellent wines, best served with Dalmatian specialties. Brna is particularly interesting for nautical and fishing lovers, due to waters rich in fish, while the islands and rocks nearby are a challenge for skippers. ISLAND OF LASTOVO The island of Lastovo, also called "Carski" (Emperor's Island), has a steep coastline and an archipelago consisting of 46 islands, whose waters are rich in fish (yellowtail, tuna and swordfish). The western archipelago, 13 n/m long, and the island of Mrcara are home to the largest lobsters. The eastern archipelago, so-called Lastovnjaci, is 9 n/m long. The only Lastovo sandy beach is located on the island of Saplun. ZAKLOPATICA (Lastovo) Zaklopatica is a wooded bay placed on the northern side of the southern Dalmatian island of Lastovo. It is only 2 km from the inland city of Lastovo and 7 km from the ferry port of Ubli. Besides 15-odd houses and three restaurants, the island offers a lot of sunshine and crystal clear waters. Zaklopatica as well as the rest of Lastovo is heaven for divers and yachtsmen who can enjoy the well-know beauties of the Lastovo archipelago and its magnificent bays.
