| | Nerezine (island of Mali Losinj) | | | | Welcome to Nerezine, a town and port on the northeastern coast of the island of Losinj, connected to the mainland via the island of Krk. Nerezine is located at the foot of Osrscice mountain and has just under 400 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in the 15th century. Although its inhabitants used to live off of the growing of fruit and vegetables and fishing, thanks to excellent home-grown food, beautiful landscapes and favorable position of its harbor that is suitable for smaller boats, tourism is becoming more and more important. There are many examples of picturesque architecture dating back to times when many inhabitants of the town were seamen who built magnificent homes for their families. We recommend you take a walk through town after spending a nice day on the beach.
We recommend: Osor and Osor Music Evenings / Mali Losinj / Island of Susak - the only sand island on the Adriatic / Island of Cres / Vransko lake on the island of Cres / Beli Eco Park, breeding site of white-headed vultures
How to get there: 5 km south of Osor on the main road that connects the towns of Cres and Mali Losinj. |
