Molunat is a southern Dalmatian tourist destination close to the old town of Cavtat and is also Croatia's southernmost tourist destination. The surrounding area is very fertile and suitable for Mediterranean plants, therefore it has been inhabited since ancient times. Molunat, a place consisting of private houses with rooms and apartments, placed on a part of the coastline known for its splendid beaches and rich vegetation, is ideal for a quiet holiday. Molunat's beaches are sandy and great for families with small children. Divers, sports fishermen, sailing enthusiasts and surfers will be thrilled with the beauty of the archipelago and its underwaters. If you are looking for night life, Cavtat and Dubrovnik are not far away.
We recommend: Veliki Molunat (lower part of the bay) and Mali Molunat (in front of the islet of Veli skolj) / ruins of a prehistoric castle close to the old village / ruins of Roman buildings in the village / Cavtat / Dubrovnik
How to get there: 15 km south to Cavtat on the road that branches off of the main road (Jadranska magistrala) at the Cilipi airport |
