| | | Medvinjak, only 2 km from the town of Korcula, is a settlement that consists of family houses. The island of Korcula is connected to the mainland by daily ferry lines from the mainland to the town of Korcula, therefore getting to Medvinjak is easy even for families with small children. It is a great place for a quiet holiday, but if you are looking for entertainment or cultural events, the town of Korcula is only a short walk away. While in Medvinjak, we suggest you rent a boat and visit the nearby islets of Badija, Vrnik and Planjak. In Medvinjak and the surroundings, there are pebble beaches with concrete swimming areas in the vicinity of private houses and apartments.
We recommend: tourist centers: Korcula and Vela Luka / smaller places with traditional way of life: Racisce, Kneza, Zrnovo and Pupnat / Peljesac peninsula (can be reached by ferry)
