| | | Lukoran is a quiet and tranquil place in the middle of the island of Ugljan that is connected to the mainland by ferry lines Zadar-Preko. The inhabitants of Lukoran live off of wine and olive growing, as well as tourism. The pebble beach, surrounded by pine forest, is ideal for families with children. There are several excellent restaurants that serve traditional local specialties. Seeing as the island of Ugljan is part of the beautiful Zadar Archipelago, we recommend boat trips to the islands and bays close by. We recommend: Romanesque church by the cemetery / nearby places on the island: Ugljan, Poljana and Preko / Zadar / neighboring island of Pasman
