| | Grljevac (Split)
| | | The tourist destination Grljevac consists of private houses and lies some 10 kilometers south of Split. The inhabitants of Grljevac used to live off of agriculture and fishing. Nowadays, due to the magnificent coast and the vicinity of Split, Grljevac has become a popular tourist destination for guests looking for a quiet holiday close to a larger tourist destination. The coast is dotted with bays, small beaches and concrete swimming areas, meaning that you can change beaches every day. Grljevac lies at the foot of Mosor Mountain, a challenge for mountain climbers, hikers and cyclists. We recommend rafting on the Cetina River nearby with its breathtaking canyon and rapids.
We recommend: Split / Stobrec / Omis / islands of Brac and Hvar by ferry from Split
How to get there: 10 km south of Split on the Split - Omis main road |
