| | Garma (island of Korcula)
| | | Garma is a recently built settlement consisting of private houses on the southern Dalmatian island of Korcula that is connected to the cities of Split and Dubrovnik by daily ferry lines. Garma is only 8 km from Vela Luka, the port used by ferries arriving from Split. You can find accommodation in rooms and apartments in modern private houses surrounded by pine trees. It is ideal for a quiet holiday since the nearest store is 8 km away in Vela Luka. There are rocky and pebble beaches, as well as concrete swimming areas with small boat docks in Garma. We recommend water sports, diving, fishing and walks in the surroundings of Garma that are covered in evergreen vegetation.
We recommend: tourist destinations: Korcula and Vela Luka / neighboring bays: Nova, Gradina, Zaglav and Grscica / old settlement Blato on the island of Korcula / islets near Vela Luka: Proizd, Osjak, Gubesa and Kamenjak - fishing areas
How to get there: from the ferry port Vela Luka - 8 km to the west on the island's main road |
