| | Dingac Borak (peninsula Peljesac)
| | | Dingac Borak is placed on the slopes of the same name on the southern side of the southern Dalmatian peninsula Peljesac, connected to the mainland by ferry lines. It is 15 km from Orebic, the peninsula's tourist center. Grapes for one of Croatia's best red wines Dingac, known for its strong taste, have been grown on the peninsula's sunny slopes since ancient times. Although the inhabitants of Peljesac have lived off of wine production, they have recently started taking advantage of the breathtaking coastline by further developing their tourist services. You can find accommodation in private rooms and apartments, and enjoy the sun on the beautiful sandy and pebble beaches as well as on the rocky swimming areas in front of private houses. The nearest grocery store is 3 km away, while the sea is only meters from the private houses. If you are a water sports enthusiast, make sure to bring all necessary equipment because it cannot be rented in Dingac Borak. The locals will offer you excellent homemade wine and specialties of Peljesac cuisine, including fish. There are several restaurants and "konobas" (traditional restaurants) close to Dingac Borak.
We recommend: places Potomje, Trstenik and Pijavicno / tourist destinations Trpanj and Orebic
How to get there: from the ferry port Trpanj: 13 km south of Trpanj on the local road that branches off in Zupanje Selo for Potomje. |
