Brbinj is a small place on the island of Dugi otok, considered one of the most beautiful islands of the Zadar archipelago, that is connected to the city of Zadar by daily boat lines. Brbinj lies in the bay of the same name on the northeastern side of the island and has some 160 inhabitants who primarily live off of agriculture and fishing, so you can buy healthy, home-grown food and recently caught fish from the locals. Brbinj is surrounded by pine trees and olive groves, and accommodation can only be found in apartments and rooms, which makes Brbinj an excellent destination for a quiet family holiday. Due to its position, the island is ideal for water sports, while several konobas and restaurants serves delicious specialties.
